Description: 1/48 Revell (Europe) SH-60B SEAHAWK, # 04640, 2008 The box is open (side opening box) and had signs of wear, and some minor tears due to age. The clear parts remained factory sealed the other parts are no-longer sealed in plastic. Several small pieces have come loose from trees but are in good shape. I doubled checked parts diagram to insure kit is 100% complete. All needed parts are present. Please read notes below for details of my inspection.- Ex-Italeti Kit originally released in 2001- Out of Production- Made in Europe- Skill Level: 4- 132 Parts- Included decals for 2 squadron options- Decals appear in new condition with protective cover still present. Impressive decal sheet. Perfect register, and thin with negligible excess carrier film. This is the nicest feature of the kit.- This appears to be a very nicely molded kit that I wish I had built. Details of the provided appear very good. Despite this the purist will want to add more interior detail especially to rear crew area. Fortunately the aftermarket industry can provide above and beyond what is required to significantly increase overall interior detail in every respect. Looking at the quality of what is currently available made me drawl. - Part # 60 Missing (Not Used) - ***,Upon Parts review I discovered an apparent discrepancy between parts diagram for clear parts and what is actually included on clear parts tree. BTW THE CLEAR PARTS TREE IS STIFF FACTORY SEALED. Diagram illustrates there are 2x Clear Parts #9 which appear identical. The actual parts tree only includes 1x Clear Part #9. There appears to be a second empty stub where another part #9 should be. But the empty clear tab is numbered part #8. The structure of this clear parts tree has different layout than what parts diagram illustrates. Also, the instructions do not call out a 2nd clear part #9, nor # 8. Part 9 is the port-side top clear window over pilot’s head. Part 7 is starboard side and it is present too. Parts tree. My conclusion is this is wrong and part 8, or a second part 9 is not needed.
