Its quintessential British pattern included hand painted English Cabbage roses in soft pinks and deep reds, among happy, yellow daffodils. Swirling up around her entry door, the roses and daffodil's welcome her home with English charm. The fine bone china cup and saucer featured delicate, fluted edges that bring dimension and flair to this ideal fairy home. The backstamp of the teacup has been placed on the back of the house for authenticity. "Reverie of Roses" stands 5 1/2 " tall, 3" in circumference and is grouted and waterproofed so our useful artwork will could also serve as a birdhouse for a very small bird such as a wren, but I think this gem is more suited for a fairy's lifestyle and would love a highlighted spot amongst your indoor garden. In French, pique assiette literally means stolen from plates. This beautiful folk-art style of mosaics was created by Raymond Edouard Isidore. He discovered his bits of colored glass and pottery in the fields surrounding his house in Chartres, outside of Paris, and spent his life covering every surface of the inside and outside of the house and his garden area.
