Description: This is a rare programme (playbill) from the Original West End production of the RICHARD O'BRIEN and RICHARD HARTLEY musical "T. ZEE" at the Royal Court Theatre in London. (The production premiered on August 10th, 1976 at the Royal Court Theatre and closed after only 38 performances.) ..... In an attempt to recreate the success of Richard O'Brien's "THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW", the composer teamed with Richard Hartley, but the show fell flat on its face and into obscurity. The story finds intrepid explorers, "Eugene de Lyle" (RICHARD O'BRIEN) and "Alison Dare" (BELINDA SINCLAIR), getting caught in the mists of a pinball world that once was Los Angeles. They become the prisoners of a sadistic pop-singer, "Bone Idol" (PAUL NICHOLAS), and the over-sexed "Princess La" (DIANE LANGTON), and meet "T. Zee" (WARREN CLARKE), an overweight muscle-man looking for his lost Jane in the jungle.
