Description: 8x10 B&W glossy vintage photograph signed "Dear Jim All the Best! Richard D. Zanuck" in black felt tip ink. Waviness at the top of the photograph, but otherwise in good condition. (1934-2012) Richard Darryl Zanuck was an American film producer. His 1989 film Driving Miss Daisy won the Academy Award for Best Picture. Zanuck was also instrumental in launching the career of director Steven Spielberg, who described Zanuck as a "director's producer" and "one of the most honorable and loyal men of our profession." This lot came from the Jim Wiggins collection we purchased in July 2022. Jim Wiggins accumulated the most unique and valuable autograph collection over a period of 70-plus years.
