In 2012, Perry attempted to win the Republican nomination for President, eventually stepping aside to see Mitt Romney take on Barack Obama. The button is in gently used condition, with a clean, rust-free reverse. There are a few minor surface scratches, and there is a very slight push from the reverse on the White House, but the pinback maintains great eye appeal. The button is marked NG Slater NYC 10018 and with phone number and Union bug on the curl.
