Description: This is an adorable family of four gnomes based on Rien Poortvliet characters from the Book of Gnomes. Licensed by Unieboek, b.v. in the Netherlands in 1979 and manufactured by The Toy Works in Middlefalls, New York, these colorful, light weight "stuffies" are wonderful decorations for the holidays or at any time for a gnome lover. The set includes papa, mama, son and daughter (in the books series, these children are twins), and they have adorable fronts, backs, and even printed feet on the bottom. They do not stand upright on their own, but can be posed against a backdrop. The papa and mama gnomes are approximately 16 inches/ 41 centimeters tall; the children are approximately 10.5 inches/ 27 centimeters tall. These characters are in very lightly used condition, clean and quite fun. It is unusual to find a full family together.
