The cigar ashtray features a deep blue glaze that varies in turquoise and aqua green shades and undertones and has a beautiful sheen. The hand carved patterns of lines, dots and Xs on the dish produce a Brutalist mid-century modern aesthetic. The whole is finished in a gorgeous high quality glaze. Bitossi (or Manifattura Cavaliere Bitossi e Figlia) was founded by Guido Bitossi in Florence, Italy in 1921.
