robert sorby 26 inch 8tpi rip saw

Description: Vintage robert sorby 26 inch 8tpi rip saw I've tried to do some research but information is very limited the little bit of information that I've been able to gather is that it's over 100 years old maybe a lot more it has the 3 crowns logo with the kangaroo and robert sorby of Sheffield cast steel etched on the plate it's hard to see in the pictures but can been seen clearly in person the medallion says corporate mark kangaroo I've sharpened and reset the teeth the handle is in great shape just cleaned it and put a couple of coats of wax tried to keep as much of the original patina as possible plate is lazer straight I've tested the saw and it works great tracking a straight line in white oak see photos for condition as this gives an accurate indication of the condition and what you will receive thanks for looking can combine postage for multiple orders saw is over 61 cm long so falls into the higher postage charge
