Description: Handcarved burlwood platter (also called Treenware) by artist Roger Sandstrom. Signed and dated, 2000. Sandstrom worked in woods including oak, cherry, lilac, mulberry, and maple. I have no idea what wood is used for this piece. Platter measures 13" x 11 1/2" x 2". Small cracked in wood due to aging (see pictures); no scratches.
