Rolex Oyster Royal Gents watch 1952, ref 6144 Cal 700, recent service, Superb

Description: Gents Rolex Oyster Royal in a very nice condition, fully working and keeping very beautiful time.Watch has some minor age commensurate wear/marks otherwise what a lovely example. Watch has recently had a service and prior the service the back of the watch had never been opened from new so it still had the factory metal seal. As can be seen from the marks to the dial, the watch had been not in use for a long time. This has now had a full service, what a nice straight vintage Rolex. This is an earlier one before they moved to the centre seconds model with Cal 710, so only a handful of these are out there and very few will be in such an exceptional vintage condition. Case--32mm wide excluding the crown, signed super Oyster crown which is original to the piece and in a great condition. Stainless steel case with a screw down caseback. The case is fully signed with the correct serial numbers and all still fully visible. Dial--Rolex signed 2,4,8 and 10 dial with arrow head markers for the rest of the hour markers, sub seconds at 6 O'clock. The dial shows some shadows from the hands due to the watch having been sat and not being used for a long time. Movement--Rolex hunter movement, Calibre 700. The movement is in such a beautiful condition it looks like new, especially after the service. Genuine interest highly appreciated for this nice watch in a beautiful original condition. Rarely do such an old piece come in such an un tampered condition. The crown, the case and the caseback all have lovely sharp edges clearly shown that this has had very little use over the decades. The watch has the original Matchbox Rolex box but its missing a cushion if it came with one.
