Description: This was my grandpas watch that passed recently (coming up on a year). His wishes were for me to have it but to sell under the conditions that it help support my grandma when needed. I’ve never been someone that was into the watch world and I think I’ve spent enough time with this beautiful piece and it would be only fair for me to allow someone else to have there chance at it. My grandfather did have a good amount of money throughout his life and rarely would splurge, but loved collecting coins and a few Rolex’s. I plan on posting some of his coin collection for my grandmother as well. Ive had group discussions on the authenticity of this watch on reddit (I know, Not the best place but it was a start) and was motivated by some of the members (due to there support of it actually being one of the few real ones they see when someone ask there opinion on it being real) to take the extra step into having someone check it out. I’ve taken this watch to a local place and had it authenticated. He said it looks great and even showed me one he personally had at his shop (a little better condition lol). He did tell me that it’s been heavily warn over time and that the bracelet was loose. It works absolutely perfect and has no issues keeping time. We were able to identify the serial number (pictured) as well as the reference number (also pictured). I don’t mind paying for it to be serviced/polished but have learned in my short time with watches that some actually prefer it not be done and leave it for more of its “originality”. I don’t mind either way. Please feel free to ask for better pictures or videos if needed, I don’t mind.
