Description: ROLLS ROYCE SPRINGFIELD PHANTOM 1 ROCKER ASSEMBLY PLEASE NOTE THAT I HAD LISTED THIS ITEM ABOUT A YEAR AGO FOR TWO HUNDRRED DOLLARS MORE THAN I AM ASKING TODAY; THE REASON BEING I AM NOW PUSHING 80 AND I NEED TO LET GO. MY SITUATION IS YOUR GOOD LUCK. During the mid-1950s the owner of the Rolls Royce died while his car was dismantled for restoration. The parts remained in the family for quite some time. Without knowledge or interest, the family sold off everything. Fifty years ago, the current owner acquired, along with other RR parts. This two-part (front and rear) RR iron head, valve rocker assembly was removed from A PHANTOM 1 IRON HEAD THAT IS CURRENTLY FOR SALE ONEBAY, UNLESS IT IS SOLD FIRST! Before crating and placed in dry, climate-controlled storage, the parts were examined and found to be in very good condition. It is said the RR had very low mileage. The condition of the rockers corroborate the motor must have seen very little use; the usual ware surfaces appear to be in excellent condition. These parts have been photographed in the same as-is, uncleaned, condition they were in when acquired. They have been left in that honest, as discovered, state to show how very nice the original surface conditions are. Once cleaned up, recommissioned, and lubricated, This valve train should be quite proper and functional. NOTE: UNLESS IT SEELS, I HAVE ANOTHER IDENTICAL HEAD FOR SALE ON EBAY AS WELL.
