Description: Gorgeous Rookwood Vase painted by Carl Schmidt, signed on bottom with his insignia.111.5" tall 4" across the widest.Crazing on the glaze, but no other damage. On the bottom rim there is a there is a small area where the glaze pulled but I would not consider that damage. No repairs on this piece. Grey blue background fading lighter on the way to the bottom, with gorgeous purple irises. I think the numbers on the bottom are 923 C there is a W and the Rookwood sign with three Roman numeral ones underneath it, so I assume this was made in 1903.Please feel free to ask any questions.The shipping cannot be bought through Bay, as they do not offer insurance for high value items, this is why there is a flat fee for this piece, signature confirmation is also included with shipping.
