Description: Here is a good Rookwood Pottery production vase with rooks five times around in a band. The glaze is a smooth dark matte blue. It measures about 5 1/2 inches high and 4 3/4 inches in diameter at the widest. It is x'd for a stilt pull base chip that has been colored in, and is otherwise in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Marks include the RP die-stamped mark, XIX for 1919, and shape number 2174. A nice example of arts & crafts Rookwood production art pottery.
