This table was put together with American-made steel table slides which can handle the two expansions without a need for drop-down legs. We also offer this table in a more traditional two-tone mahogany finish but this particular table was finished with a dark walnut stain so it will coordinate nicely with gray, navy blue, and more modern pastels. It is a very rich dark-brown color that sometimes looks black when in front of a bright window. This well made birdcage pedestal was designed to last for generations. Each saber leg was reinforced with steel and each foot is capped off with custom solid brass feet and levels.
