Doll was produced exclusively for Kiddie World Toys for the Mission San Jose Edition of the "Missions of Alta California" series, and sold at Kiddie World Toys Doll Show of 1989 in San Jose, CA. Josefa Galindo Berreyessa, Mission San Jose, was the first doll in the "Missions of Alta California" doll series. Complete with Certificate of Authenticity and Missions of Alta California booklet. Metal tag on dolls right arm is stamped "Kiddie World, Limited Edition of 500". This is doll number 017. Hang tag on left arm has a personal note from designer, Miss Elsa of Royal. Doll has never been removed from box. Doll has black hair, brown eyes. Black lace Mantilla. Dress is black/white/grey plaid with ruffle, black lace. Red rose bouquet at waist, cameo necklace.
