Description: Royal Ironstone China Mellor, Taylor & Co Chamber Pot with Lid. Research shows that this is likely the square ridged design and made sometime between 1883 and 1904. This white with slight blue hint is 10 inches wide to end of handle. It is approx 8 inches to top of finial. There are no chips or cracks. See 2nd pic. There is a tiny rough spot on edge of finial but not sure that its a chip. There is staining inside of the bowl. There is a dimple and stain on the outside of bowl as per pic. Also, there is some faint scratch lines on outside, I don't think it is very noticeable. It may be a seam on the side that is visible in pic 4. I think that is normal. It is hard to find chamber pots with lids. This is a great looking chamber pot, especially for its age. Please view pics as this is the item you are purchasing and pics are part of the description.
