Description: RPPC Postcard RMS SS Berengaria Ballroom Palm Court Trans-Atlantic Ocean Liner Began life as the SS Imperator as part of the Hamburg-Amerika Line. Briefly commission into the US Nave as USS Imperator (ID-4080) and employed as a transport returning American troops from Europe. Purchased in 1919 jointly by Cunard and White Star Lines and renamed RMS Berengaria. She was retired from Cunard & White Star Lines in 1938 with final demolition in 1946. Postcard is previously owned/used and some wear is expected, such as along the edges.
