He immediately proved to be a very interesting Artist, winning the first prize in the international comics competition held at the Baraccano Museum in historic center of Bologna. From that moment Rubens will devote himself to study of the human figure, for him an important starting point for all his expressions artistic, which over time will rework transfiguring its appearance aesthetic in his personal dream vision. After graduation Rubens yes enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna where he will study not only painting and graphics, but also sculpture. The subjects of Fogacci, range from human figures to surrealistic portraits of important personalities historical and mythological, such as the famous Neptune or Giuseppe Garibaldi, but in the recent years the figures take precedence over living nature and scenes of daily life, while maintaining the unmistakable characteristics of his creations, i.e. marked lines and colors bright and vibrant. The techniques favorites remain today oils and acrylics on canvas, not forgetting the studio and the experimentation of new materials such as resins, bronze and clay. Very many participation in Italian art fairs e as well as publications in important catalogs and editorials of art.
