Description: Russian antique traveling icon painted on mother of pearl, gilt silver enameled oklad. The Icon itself in good condition for its age with a couple of tiny paint loss area, very minor enamel loss, but there is wear and gilt loss on the oklad. Marked with 84 kokoshnik for silver, left facing woman head with a triangle in front. Maker mark āŠIā I found similar pieces selling for over $2000 in antique stores.
