Description: These breeding pairs of Pure Russian Red Staeck Endlers are a perfect addition to any aquarium. These peaceful fish thrive in tropical waters and are easy to care for, making them suitable for beginners. The Endlers species is known for its unique behavior and beauty, making it a must-have for any fish enthusiast. The Staeck endlers are named after German Dr. Wolfgang Staeck who discovered them. They are known for their unique "porthole" markings that number anywhere from one to four. These vibrant fish are relatively small, typically reaching an adult size of just 1 to 1.5 inches (2.5 to 3.8 cm). Despite their petite stature, Japan Blue Endlers are known for their lively and active nature. They are incredibly social and thrive in groups, adding a sense of liveliness and dynamism to your aquatic habitat. Life span averages from 2 - 4 years if kept in a well maintained tank that doesn't have uncontrolled Nitrite, Nitrates, and Ammonia levels. Classification - K Class (Blue Endlers are a Poecilia wingei and Guppy cross) AKA - Endler Guppies, Endler/Guppy Hybrid Livebearers Originally Bred: Russia/South America Stock: Tank Raised Phenotype: As pictured, consistent population Prey on fry: Rarely (Large Females) AKA: Endler Guppies, Endler Guppy Livebearers, Poecilia Wingei Endlers do best if kept in tanks with clean water and live plants to give them hiding places and give the fry a better chance at survival. Unlike guppies it's rare for them to eat their own young. Some of them are jumpers, so a cover on the tank is a must. Endler livebearers are very hardy and undemanding in the aquarium. They prefer hard, warm water, but they will do very well in soft water as well. The warmer the water, the faster they will grow: 27 C (75-81 F). This is slightly higher than their guppy cousins, which prefer 2325 C (73-77 F). Shipping: The shipping Box will be insulated, well packaged and heat packs will be included as needed for the survival of your new fish during shipment. If we foresee issues with shipping due to weather or other issues, shipping may be delayed. Currently we ship on Monday and Tuesdays. We do not label our boxes with "Live Fish" as this causes delays and DOAs. The largest risk in shipment is the fish being left in a mailbox upon delivery. In the unfortunate and rare event you lose more than 2 fish pictures of the fish in the bag unopened within 2 hours of the delivery time (noted in the tracking number) of the package ARE required for refunds. Please be home to receive your fish and acclimate ASAP to their new home. It is the customers responsibility to keep watch of the tracking number.
