Standard casework Knife / Overlay hinges, This Time Proven design keeps cabinet doors tight & stays out of sight. smooth operation and lasting durability of this top-quality hinge Installation Recommendations For most cabinet doors, only two hinges are required. For doors over 36" in length more hinges can be used to control warp-age. For this purpose, use enough to limit the spacing between hinges to 24". For extra weight -- such as pantry doors with shelves or racks -- use one extra hinge for each 10 lbs. of load. Note: A 15" wide x 30" tall door of relatively heavy construction will weigh between 9 & 15 lbs Step 1 Cut 9/32" wide slot at each end of door per drawing at right; keep length of slot less than 2". This hinge can be used for right or left hand doors, top or bottom mounting. Step 2 Install hinges in door saw slots using #6 pan head screws. For easy alignment and best appearance, mount hinges flush with end of slot and square with edge of door. Step 3 Hold door in position desired with locating tabs against outside corner of frame and insert screws in center of adjusting slots. Step 4 Swing door through full opening arc and adjust for best fit. An additional screw can be inserted in the optional set hole.
