Description: This stunning serving spoon from S. Kirk & Son has the intricate repousse design which was introduced to the United States by Samuel Kirk founder of Kirk silver company in Baltimore, MD. His company continued with his sons and after several iterations of S.Kirk & Sons Co. By 1932, the name stay S.Kirk & Sons in 1932 until 1979 when the company became part of Stieff Silver and showed as Kirk Stieff unitil it ceased operations in 1999. Repousse is no longer produced by Kirk Stieff. This dates these pieces as vintage and this spoon is in excellent condition. It has been in my collection for over 50 years .
