S Scale 1/64th Southern Pacific GS 4 Custom 3D Printed Kit For American Flyer

Description: Up for your consideration today is a custom designed and 3D printed kit for a Southern Pacific GS4 engine. These were painted in both the daylight and war black paint schemes. What you are purchasing in the kit is the plastic components needed to build this such as the cab, two boiler section, two tender sections, and ladders, front nose, front truck support and roof. The kit will be sold unpainted and unassembled, I painted it in order to give some idea of the detail. Painting and masking is not my specialty, providing a detailed quality model is, so please look over the masking imperfections. This was designed to fit over an American flyer northern can number 332 for the Union Pacific line. It should work with any of the older northern flyer chassis however. As with prep with any kit, it may require some small amounts of sanding or other surface prep for the paint. Holes would benefit from being drilled out to exact size and/or tapped but usually do accept just screwing them to thread them where needed. The rivet that holds the front truck onto the pilot will have to be removed in order to attach the front truck to the hanger for this kit. It is 3D printed using Sirayatech resin, (grey or Smoky black are the two common colors) and should be compatible with almost all types of paint. Please note a lot of time the first coat will take a few days to dry due to the nature of the resin but after that the paint applies generally normally. It does not affect the overall look or quality of the paint job just the beginning drying time. They will be printed once the order is placed, I will do my best to still get them out within 5 days, but it may take longer due to declining health of a family member, hence the listed 10 days.
