Description: Sabal Tamaulipas is from Tamaulipas Mexico and is most closely related to Sabal minor in the Southeast, except it grows bigger leaves, with very wide flat leaflets. After many years these will grow a low sprawling trunk. A lot of people have had luck growing these all over the Southeast U.S. there’s a few specimens I know of that have been growing in TN for decades undamaged by cold. Definitely worth planting in zone 7 and above. Hard to find these, not many people grow and sell them. These are a great size. Ships in bag, selling at a great price!!!
