Description: PRICE REDUCED! This magnificent "Winds of Memory" sculpture depicting Native American Sacagawea guiding the Lewis & Clark Expedition. It was sculpted by David Lemon (b.1947) an American Indian & Cowboy Artist Association listed sculptor. It is an original, limited edition, hot patinated bronze sculpture that is mounted on a solid black granite base (7"x7"x3"). It was produced in 1994 and has been sold out since 1996. It is numbered 27/500. The bust/torso of a the Native American maiden is depicted with care and meticulous detail. Below left, a smaller maiden cradles her child. Turquoise, Silver and Gold 'jewelry' dangle from her ears and arms. On the reverse, above the artist's signature, is another bas relief scene featuring Lewis & Clark.The sculpture swivels completely around on its base.Sculpture measures approx. 16" Tall, 10" Wide and 5" Deep, it is mounted on a rotating base and weighs 35 pounds before packing.
