Description: Samuel Alcock 2/619 Enameled Red & Puce Floral 9 3/4 Inch Plate Circa 1820s Rare earthenware plate. Decorated with hand enameled red flowers with green centers and puce leaves. Green trim around the edge and a ring of green around the center. Marked on the reverse with the pattern number 2/619 in puce. Attributed to Samuel Alcock. Circa 1820. Has crazing typical of earthenware and wear consistent with age and use, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 3/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece. HU
