Description: This catalogue, produced in conjunction with a 1993 exhibition at the Fuller Museum (Brockton, MA) and the St. Botolph Club (Boston), is an excellent resource on the work of artist Samuel Burtis Baker. The introduction is by the exhibit curator, Diane McManus Jensen. Baker's daughter, Nancy Baker Oppenheim, writes of her father in "A Daughter's View." There is an an essay on the artist's life and work by Elizabeth C. Haff, "Samuel Burtis Baker - An Appreciation," biographical notes on the artist, a list of works exhibited, 16 color plates, and numerous additional illustrations in black and white. The 46-page softcover volume measures 9¾ x 8¼ inches, and it is in excellent condition. I add new listings daily and am happy to combine shipping. More Art-Crafts-Hobbies Books
