Description: This scarce 1890s "Brilliant Mixture" hinged litho tobacco tin, measuring 2 7/8" x 3" x 3 7/8", is in excellent condition with no rust or dents and some age related paint scratches and chips. The hinge is in excellent working order. There is a small piece of tax stamp. This very attractive yellow and black tin features a detailed image of men working in a tobacco field at sunrise. The tobacco was manufactured by the Weisert Brothers Tobacco Company, St Louis, MO in Factory 13, 2nd Collection District, MO. The Weisert Brothers Tobacco Company was the largest in the Midwest at the time.
