Joseph, the youngest of the sons of Jacob, was also his father's favorite. Jacob prepared a coat of may colors for Joseph. Joseph, like David and Solomon after him, was a man of contrasts: a dreamer and interpreter of dreams, but also a realist and man of action of such capacity that he became the deputy of the Pharaoh of Egypt.
