Description: Here is a rather interesting 1959 paperback publication put out by the "Science Service" dealing with the topic of aereonautics. It is "Science Service Flight Science Program" by Peter Viemeister, illustrated by Gil Evans, and printed by Nelson Doubleday, Inc. of Garden City, NY. This book predates the moon landing, but looked to be very up to date for its printing time. Must have been geared to the school aged market, as there are a series of COLOR stickers or stamps that have been carefully placed in their correct locations in the book! The captions for the stamps were on the printed pages already! I do show ONE of those in one of the photos, to hopefully add clarity as to what I am talking about. The book contains 66 pages plus paperback covers, and is printed in black, white and blue. Plus those full color stamps. Measures about 8 1/2 inches high and 5 5/8 inches wide. Photos of front and rear covers, plus the two pages containing publishing info, plus one shot of a page with a color stamp installed. I am NOT a pro book seller, so if you have questions, please ask! Figured this would be a neat item for a book collector, or aereonautics enthusiast. Great classic images of what would then have been the state of the art in air travel! Priced to sell, with only actual USPS Ground Advantage, Priority or Media Mail shipping charged to the winner!
