Description: Offered for sale here is a copy of The Scores of the Gloucestershire County Cricket Club for 1900 in VERY GOOD condition. Covers and contents are in very good clean condition, Each year from the 1870s to the outbreak of WW1 Arrowsmiths in Bristol published a booklet at the end of each season with full scorecards of all the matches played by the County that season .Issues pre 1905 also included batting and bowling averages for the season. Nowadays these are scarce items.All the years have matching wrappers depicting a caricature of what appears to be a youthful WG standing beside a scorer's tent. These can be found for individual seasons,as here,or occasionally with several seasons bound together. A nice item and very collectable and one of a number that we are listing.
