Description: SEA DOO RXP 215 FRONT HOOD STORAGE LID GAS SHOCK STRUT SPRING PART NUMBER 269501167. Simple undue old one and pop in new one! Use this to fix your RXP Hood Lid that won't stay open! -Have someone else hold the hood or use storage tray wedged in to hold the hood. -Pop off the old broken shock. May need to use a small flat head screwdriver and pry the metal clip off the old ball joint connection. -Take new shock and push into the existing bottom silver metal ball joint connection and move the hood slightly to the correct height to push in the remaining ball joint connection. This is for the gas shock part 269501167 only as shown in the first four photos. Your rubber sleeve may be labeled 269501168 and was listed for easier identification of part needed only. If desired Will fit the following models. 2004 -2009 RXP 215hp models 2007 and 2008 RXP non-supercharged 155hp models 2008-2011 rxpx 255hp models
