Description: Notes:"Baston designed a stagecoach penstand for the Everett National Bank, Everett, Mass. to hand out to their customers. The stagecoach was the bank's trademark because Everett was the Boston terminal of the Newbury port (on the Massachusetts north shore) Turnpike. Most of the stage lines traveled this route. Jeremiah Prescott, Baston's great grandfather drove this stagecoach line during the 1830's. A year later Baston removed the penstand and changed to base to the simple 'Stagecoach.' It has sold in the retail line since then." Glenn S.
