Description: Item for Sale: Sega Genesis Model 1 Console For Parts or repair, comes with a copy of Sonic 2 I got this Genesis with the intention of restoring it. It has some water damage, and in short I have done everything I can for it. I cleaned the metal shielding of rust, cleaned the board as much as I could, and checked the cartrige slot. The system actually runs perfectly, believe it or not. It boots games, outputs perfect sound, takes controller imput just fine, and even connects to my Sega cd. The reason I'm selling it for parts is due to the scrambled video signal, which I believe to be due to a bad cpu. (Yes, that is the included copy of sonic 2 running in those pictures) I don't have the means to repair that, but there are still plenty of perfectly good parts.
