It’s a uncommon watch sold only in Japan. The Spirit Series has been a long running series of mid-high range quartz watches from Seiko and the production of this series continues to his day. This specific watch dates to May 1993. The Cal. 5M45 A.G.S. (Automatic General System, later known as Kinetic) GMT movement with jump hour function the early sporty Seiko R-SUS series and in the high end Landmaster series; so this Seiko Spirit watch is an uncommmon JDM watch carrying this movement. This watch is in good shape; light dings on the titanium case and screwdown caseback. There is a celebratory engraving (not sure what it reads in Japanese) on the caseback. Crystal is reflective and couple sapphire. Unsigned gold plated crown works well and quickset jump hour for date change works without issues. 2 o'clock power reserve button depresses well with no stickiness. A bit of stiffness in the bidirectional Word Time Bezel but it turns completely, Movement is clean and the watch still runs on the original capacitor, but it can at best hold a charge for about 48-72h; a capacitor change is recommended; as a result, the watch will be Sold AS IS, No Returns. You do get the original 18mm titanium bracelet but it's short an largely unwearable; I've installed a stainless 18mm Oyster link clasp bracelet that fits my 7.5 inch wrist with 1 extra microadjustment. Due to size, the watch would be good with the ladies and kids as well. No box/paper/tags. This is an uncommon Seiko only found in the Japanese market with a rare Cal. 5M45 Kinetic GMT movement - don't miss out on this rare lightweight classic!
