Description: Set of two handcrafted and handpainted soapstone safari style taper candle holders. These are unique one-if-a-kind pieces from Kenyan artists. The stems have three sided spirals with artist renditions of an elephant, a rhinoceros, and an African tree. They are not identical as they are handmade, but are a matching set. There are no makers marks or signatures, but the bottoms have the same number (1842). They each have slightly different measurements, as one is thinner and taller than the other, but work well as a matching set. (See last photos for measurements). Condition of both is excellent with no chips, cracks or other defects noticed.
