Description: This auction is for 12 hardcover volumes as shown along with two soft cover 1984 supplements also depicted. Any supplements that I have are also included. I’ve never looked at the supplements and there’s actually one in the photos because it isn’t in its book. I can’t imagine anyone caring about those but if so, just ask us there are no returns. I'm selling these only bc I had to move and no longer have the space. It took me a long time to find a full set but I honestly I don't use them nearly as much as I'd like, so it's hard to justify keeping them IF I can sell them at least for what I paid. I probably paid too much - but I wanted a full set (as far as I know this is a full set as it was published at the time - keep in mind this is NOT a current or even recent set but from circa 1960 (they're marked 1979 reprint). I bought this set mostly because a current set costs more than $5,000 with tax, and is 16 volumes, which is overkill. Even this set could have been smaller. But also, Prof. Corbin died in 1967. Today, and for a long time, "Corbin on Contracts" is written by others. But Corbin to a large extent INVENTED Contract Law as we know it, and I find reading HIS treatise far more valuable - and historically interesting - than reading anything more modern. So, I am boxing them up and listing them here. I'll consider offers, but if they don't sell before I move, I'll be very happy to keep them because I KNOW I'm going to regret selling if I live long enough, since even without using them, they LOOK great (but check the photos, there is SOME wear to the titles on the spines, but I literally had them for years before I even noticed that). Also, they've been with me almost a decade in a barrister's bookcase, in a smoke-free home, but I don't know anything about their original owner (based on where I bought them, I am guessing I am only the 2nd owner). I don't see any writing, including names, in any of the books but it's a LOT of pages so it's not impossible there may be a note someone wrote somewhere. Also, shipping is calculated. The books weigh just under 50lbs without a box, so even via media mail shipping won't be super cheap. ebay AI:Dive into the intricate world of legal agreements with the "Corbin on Contracts" 12-volume set from 1960.
