From the manufacturer:The Top Mount Pull-Up pole is sometimes called a Thru-the Deck Top Raise pole. It is excellent for mounting above the pump or non-weatherproof equipment compartments. The pole is raised from the top by pulling up from above the mounting flange. When the pole is in the down position the inner (extension) tube will be inside the compartment. Note: The mounting flange is not weatherproof and may seep water. A 2.5" square flange is available on the 510C pole. Features:-FRC telescopic poles are made of anodized aluminum for maintenance free performance and longer service life-Extension poles rotate 360ยบ-Extension poles have the exclusive twist lock mechanism to secure the pole in position-Standard extension poles have a four foot retractable cord extending from the bottom for direct wiring-Outer tubes have a grooved surface-A 2.5" square flange is available on the 510C pole.
