Description: These hand carved, twisted, soapstone candlestick were hand carved and hand painted in Kenya, Africa. One has a lizard on 3 sides, the other features 3 sides of a tribal design. They are a nice neutral beige with black painted designs that fit in with almost any color scheme. Looks perfect with African themed decor but would also work well with a southwestern, minimalist or eclectic style. Great for display on a bookshelf or counter, or on tabletop. Each candlestick holder stands 6" tall and is 2 1/4" wide at the base. They are in very good condition, but not perfect. Each has one small chip (please see photos). One on the edge of the base, the other in the edge of the to rim that the candle sits in. They are quite small and don't detract from the handsomeness of these hand crafted items. If they worked with my personal decor, I would not hesitate to display them.
