Description: Made in Asia, these two Spode Christmas Tree 14-oz. Café Mugs have seen little, if any, use. They're in excellent condition with no nicks, dings, cracks, chips or crazing. The glaze is smooth, shiny and slippery all-over. They measure 4" tall, 3.5" across the rim, 4½" from the edge of the rim to the edge of the handle and 2" across the base. Christmas Tree items feature a festive pattern designed in 1938 by Harold Holdway, a young Spode designer. Though Holdway had never trimmed a tree himself, he managed to design the perfect Christmas tree complete with wrapped gifts and the well-known St. Nicholas topper.
