Description: This item is being sold for the employee holiday fund at the continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Maine where I live with my husband. All items are donated by the residents of the community and the net proceeds of all sales go to the fund that is distributed annually to the wonderful staff who help the many elderly residents here. I will give all the information I can about each item, but I am not the original owner. I have here a Set of 4 Antique William Adams English Pottery Blue & White Small Bowls Chinese Bird 623294. These are sweetest, prettiest, daintiest and most versatile bowls!! They are 5” in diameter at the top (they have a scalloped edge), base is about 2 3/8” in diameter and then stand about 1” tall. Again, their uses are endless! They are all in very good, gently used condition – I do not see any chips or cracks. They have a dainty Chinese pattern on them. On the bottom of each bowl it says, “Rd (?) No. 623294 – This pattern was introduced by William Adams in 1780 being a copy of a Chinese pattern & one of the first of its style produced in English pottery – Mm Adams”.
