Description: Set of 6 antique Limoges plates, about 8 1/2 inches wide (salad or luncheon size). Dramatic ring of handpainted deep pink roses and green leaves around the edge with a single rose surrounded by leaves in the center. Outside rim edged in cobalt blue and gold enamel, with center of plate intersected by two lines of cobalt and gold. Gorgeous -- and very French -- design. In good condition, porcelain on all plates is very good with no cracks or chips except for crack on one plate, some wear to the enamel in places, esp. around the rims -- see pictures.
