Description: This is a larger set of prints in very good condition original & made by the photographer George Fulmer at some point during his career. everything I’m showing you here was found together. The originals (shown here in a couple of photos) are not for sale & will remain in possession of the estate, they are photographed and shown here for reference only. The set of photos you are buying here is the only set of copies/prints that were found in the estate & they are all in very good condition. There are six photographs all printed on 8 x 10 paper. The images themselves measure roughly 6“ x 9“. The originals are not included but measure just about 4“ x 5“ & were found in the packet you see here. There was no exact date on these, but I do know George’s career started just before World War II when he was enlisted as an aerial photographer for the Navy. This appears to be some sort of war bond promotion or parade. Maybe a celebration?? Enlighten me please if you know. The other little packets contain individual negatives of these and a few other images that are not included here. Please read more about the estate and our photographer, George Fulmer & message me for the FULL STORY A COA from the estate will come with your purchase George Fulmer. Photographer for the city of Clearwater for over half a century. A Navy enlisted official photographer during WW2 who afterwards, served the city of Clearwater for another 55 years until his passing in 2015. Aerial photographer for Pinellas County & so much more!! After cleaning out the 7000 sq ft combination residence & studio by the Clearwater courthouse in 2014, we have been sorting through over 100,000 photographs for the last 10 years, and are finally offering SOME of the best ones up for sale individually. As the estate gains recognition and momentum here, we will begin to list more and more, some in sets, and some for auction as well. Not everything will be sold. We just want to share his work & get it circulated & known. Much of the collection will remain with the curators to share later. We hope to Bring recognition to his life's work as well as to find homes for part of the history of an entire city as documented by the city photographer. The photographs include everything you would've expected a city photographer to have been present for, from weddings, to new construction, aerial photographs, sporting events, school events, press photography, police, Jaycees, and a really nice , but VERY LIMITED collection of nude photographs possibly from a nudist camp that is still in operation here today. Even more limited, there were a handful of war photographs and film that we were able to save, The photos that are being offered here were well preserved, found inside the home and studio, in a cool, dry, cellar type setting. FOLLOW US ON EBAY !!! This is quite a project for only two curators, so please follow us, and be patient as we slowly unveil the contents of this massive estate. And always, if you see something that you like, please make an offer!! Shipping will be by priority mail unless otherwise requested.
