Set of 9 - 2000's Indianapolis 500 Official Programs

Description: This set of 2000 programs are definitely a great vintage find for Indy Collectors and Indy 500 Race Fans! They are beautiful and spectacular Indy Racing historical masterpieces! 8 of the programs are packaged in their zip-lock Indy stamped plastic sleeves (see #3).My Dad attended all of these Indianapolis races and so there has only been one owner of these programs and they have been in storage for over 15+ years - they are in excellent condition! I am selling these 9 programs in a SET ONLY which includes these years (see picture #1) & I listed the Winners!: 2000 (Juan Pablo Montoya), 2001 (Helio Castroneves), 2002 (Helio Castroneves), 2003 (Gil de Ferran), 2005 (Dan Wheldon), 2006 (Sam Hornish Jr), 2007 (Dario Franchitti), 2008 (Scott Dixon), and 2009 (Helio Castroneves),The 5/28/2000 (84th 500) program has a fold-out cover by David Grove, artist. It has a supplement removable insert showing the "Starting Field" with pictures of the cars and "Score Card" (See pics #3 & #4). The 5/27/2001 (85th 500) program has a holographic cover with a removable insert showing the same format as the 2000 program. This is the "90th Anniversary of the inaugural Indy 500" program (1911- 2001)! (See pics #5 & #6).The 5/26/2002 (86th 500) program has a removable insert showing the same format as the 2000 program (See pics #7 & #8).The 5/25/2003 (87th 500) program has a cover designed by Peter Max, artist. It has a removable insert showing the same format as the 2000 program (See pics #9 & #10). It also includes a mini poster "ART IN MOTION" within the pages (See pic #11).The 5/29/2005 (89th 500) program has a removable insert showing the "Starting Field" with pics of the drivers & their cars, along with a smaller "Score Card" (See pics #12 & #13). It also includes a "Race Car Card Model Kit" with cutouts to assemble.The 5/28/2006 (90th 500) program has a fold-out cover celebrating the 90th running of the 500. It has a removable insert showing the same format as the 2005 program (See pics #14 & #15). It also has Collectible postcards & Vintage program covers within the pages (See pic #16).The 5/27/2007 (91st 500) program has a removable insert showing the same format as the 2005 program (See pics #17 & #18). It also includes a poster of A.J. Foyt within the pages, commemorating his wins (See pic #19).The 5/25/2008 (92nd 500) program has a fold-out cover by David Uhl, artist. It has a removable insert showing the same format as the 2005 program. Also included, is the Indianapolis Star newspaper from this date! (See pics #20 & #21). It also has a poster of the 2008 Inaugural Red Bull Indianapolis GP (Motorcycles) within the pages of the program.The 5/24/2009 (93rd 500) program has a fold-out cover by Thomas Kincade, artist. This is the Centennial Era Edition program! It has a removable insert showing the same format as the 2005 program (See pics #22 & #23). It includes a "Century of Speed" poster within the pages. ALSO included are "Historical Reproductions" in an unopened envelope within the pages (See pic #24).The programs were published by Indy Publications - IMS Corporation.The books measure 8 1/2" wide by 11" long by about 1/2" thick.All together the 10 programs weigh 14 pounds; 15.1 ounces without the packaging.
