Description: Handmade Lampwork beads are made one at a time by heating a cane or rod of glass over a flame torch and then applying the molten glass around a mandrel. The bead is held over the flame while it is worked on and cooled slowly to strengthen the glass. It takes a lot of skill to keep the bead from losing its shape and the adding of other colors in swirls or flowers demands much concentration. This set has two (11x19mm and 12x20mm) Oval Emerald Green beads with a swirling design around the middle. Four other rondelles are a combination of green, tan and ivory designs measuring from 9 x14mm to 12 x 17mm. At each end is a plain green bead 7 x 11mm. These all coordinate well.
