So, it does work, it chimes Westminster on the 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4 hour, but what it does is once it hits the hour and starts the count, it doesn't stop until it runs down. What we've been doing is just not winding the 3rd spring that powers the hour gong. So, with that being said, please consider this clock as imperative and in need of repair. It measures about 20" wide, 9.5" tall and 6" deep. Any questions, just ask. Thanks
