Description: Up for sale is a lot of 8 issues in the series Shadowpact (2006) Issues #7-8, 12-15, and 19-20. The Shadowpact is a superhero group of magic-based characters who fought against the Spectre in the 2005 limited series Day of Vengeance, published by DC Comics. They are a sort of Justice League for the supernatural elements of the DC Universe. The group is founded by Enchantress, Ragman, and Detective Chimp to get rid of the Spectre because of his decision to destroy all magic in the universe. They are joined by Blue Devil, Nightshade, and Nightmaster, and Zauriel, the former JLA member angel. In 2006, DC decided to give them their own series. It ran for 25 issues. As stated above, this listing is for Shadowpact (2006) Issues #7-8, 12-15, and 19-20. Highlights include: Issue #7, published in January 2007, is written by Bill Willingham (Fables), with cover and art by Cory Walker. Dr. Gotham has ordered the destruction of the Shadowpact! Ragman and the Enchantress have been transformed into Hellhounds...and the new supervillain team known as the Congregation could overmatch even the JLA! Issue #8 features art and cover by Shawn McManus. Ragman is spotlighted in this conclusion to the Shadowpact's war with the Congregation! Plus, Strega and Dr. Gotham! Issue #12 has art and cover by Tom Derenick & Wayne Faucher If you live by the sword, you die by the sword, as Nightmaster is finding out! Jim Rook is on the threshold of death, kept alive only by the Enchantress's spell! Issue #13 has art and cover by Scott Hampton All of the Shadowpact's most dangerous foes have been marshalling their forces in secret behind our heroes' backs. Time to call in some help. Enter: Zauriel! Issue #14 sees a disgusted Blue Devil quit Shadowpact! Issue #15 sees Zauriel officially join Shadowpact. Plus, Blue Devil learns what he needs to do to save his parents. Issue #19 is written by Matt Sturges, with art and cover by Phil Winslade A lethal trap has been sprung by Shadowpact's foes...and our heroes have no choice but to walk straight into it, to save one of their own! Finally, Issue #20 sees Nightmaster learn some new tricks while trapped in the Nightshade Dimension! Plus, the Blue Devil fights an army of wizards but gets help from a most unlikely source.
