Description: Golden Honey Colored Plush Mohair Teddy Bear Fully Jointed Shamrock Bear by OOAK Artist Susan Corey Creations Most likely created in the Late 80s or early 90s Bear still has its Shamrock Pin to it's Ear and has a sewn on Fabric Nose common to a lot of her bears. This is a Very Nice Quality Handmade Bear which is in very good clean preowned condition. I tested fur and this bear is made ofnatural fibers and is not a synthetic fiber. I only pulled a few loose hairs randomly in order to test them. Bear stands approximately 11" tall, is fully Jointed at the arms legs & neck. Bear has a small hump to its upper back like an old grizzly bear would have. Paw pads are a soft Ultrasuede fabric and are very clean and nicely finished. Fur is really soft to the touch and is a longer looking type which makes bear feel soft & cuddly.. The muzzle has been trimmedto a short pile around face exposing nose to give it a natural bear appearance. The nose is brown piece of fabric and is not a thread type. Eye's appear to be glass, they are very shiny and have rounded button shapes. I think these bears were made to promote her Childrens story Book she wrote Featuring a Shamrock Bear named Higgins. Most Shamrock Bears I have seen always seem to be tagged and dated around 1989 to 1993 This Bear is not signed on foot or tagged with paper label.
