Description: I purchased this item over thirty-years ago when I first started teaching biology. Unfortunately I no longer teach bio so I am trying to sell some items that I've used in lessons, in order to purchase new material that will help engage my students. I have not been able to identify the species of shark this was taken from. The jaw is 10-11" wide depending on where you measure from. There aren't any teeth missing, see pictures, on either the upper or lower jaw. I cannot say how it was cleaned but it is definitely spotless. I've seen these selling for well over $100 but I am clueless as what to ask for so I have a starting bid that I hope you find reasonable.
